    Use sd card instead of internal storage

    I have received my cube last week, I noticed that 16GB is not enough and also bought a 32GB SD card. The problem is that applications use mostly internal storage by default. I can store manually files in SD but camera pics, Google music local files and podcasts are stored in internal memory. Is it possible to change this default behavior to SD?

    From ICS on, google SDK by default plans to use internal SD for APPS moving to sd. Lots of people do not like this. Common complaint especially since ClockWork does not look for .android_secure on internal SDcard. So it doesnt back that up! CWM expects it to be on external SD.

    This can be fixed. BUT you will be changing things that can cause other issues with APPs. Long term I think we will be stuck dealing with this and changing clockwork to support .android_secure on internal sdcard.

    You have to mod vold.fstab to switch the 2.

    Google search "internal vs external sdcard" and you will find MUCH talk about it on XDA and how to change this.

      OK, I tried this and now my device does not start, I kept a copy of vold.fstab is there a way of restoring it and avoid reflashing?

        DId you make a CWM backup of system? If so restore that way.
