I noticed Netflix had an update today with "bug fixes".

I have been working on this a little... you can probably see my activity.
Sorry though I had to watch a full movie the other night as I liked it

Anyway, it is NOT going well. I have tried to build several ROMs using graphics drivers from other ROMs that work. This is tottally a guessing game and so far no luck! I did fix it on one tablet but I think I got lucky that go around. Debug showed me the way. But on the 10bg3 ROM using a mouse (only way I can), I cannot find WHY it is doing what it is doing.

So let me tell you why this is harder than I initially thought. Netflix has done everything they can to HIDE information from debugger. I am sure 100% it is because if someone figures it out, they could download and capture the stream. So this is making me fix things harder for sure.

But I am not done yet. Just need more time to work on it.

Ok, man.

I did update it on my G3, but it still hangs on the main screen. You can press anything, and you get a click sound...but nothing happens.

I think I may have to give up. I am truely sorry. I spent 6 hours today working on this. I cannot seem to find the exact reason why some OS's work and others do not. I have messed with build.prop. I have taken GL drivers from known working tabs, I have taken LIB files, I have tried everything I know to try and figure out WHY some ICS OS's work and other do not. IT IS DRIVING ME NUTS

I want to say...... this SERIOUSLY PISSES ME OFF. I know it is a matter of some kind of LIB or resource files but I just cannot find it!

Why does the Yaundao N101-1 work well but ICS 4.0.4 on the G3 does not? WHY my Momo8 on ICS 4.0.4 also not work?

I have done file compares, I have swapped files, I have used every TRICK in the book to port ROMs from a working netflix ROM to another that does not work. I honeslty CANNOT figure this out

However..... Something I have not done is do a mod the HEAP showed for the ug802 player. And this is to edit the PHONE provider in the resource files. I will try that next. IF THAT DOES NOT WORK..... Then I think I am done trying to fix this AND... what bums me out! Is I have never given up before but this one maybe beyond my knowledge.

ONE LAST TRY...... Not sure when I can do this in the next few days as I am going on holiday for a week starting Saturday. So if I cannot spend time tomorrow, I will try ONE MORE TIME a week from now.

Thanks but it is not really a vacation. Will and I are going to be running the show for the Socal Helifreak Funfly! It's a RC heli thing and will be a lot of work! So while I will have fun and THANKS for wishing me a nice vacation, it's not really a vacation....

Working .. kind of!

I tried running Netflix on snakekillers JB rom and it worked ... kind of.

By searching for something I managed to get into the player and managed to get something to play. However, when it played, it seemed to be playing too fast and there was no sound.

Not sure if that helps any!

Netflix for 10bG3.

I had Netflix working perfectly with a hybrid of SK's Jellybean with Neomode's kernel. Neo is working on a ROM today for this tab to fix some other things, and I suspect it will fix Netflix, too.

Just keep an eye out on Neomode's threads, or on Snakiller's Jellybean thread for an update.
