    acemax m8 genuine

    Hello, I am a new member here, been lurking for a while.
    I have an acemax m8 running finless 1.8 ROM and latest helix build.
    The problem I have is when watching content from my nas I get jerky, stuttering playback every 4 or 5 minutes which only lasts a few seconds, sort of like jumping frames. I have tried Gotham 13.2 & 13.1, spmc, beyond xbmc, orginial fw etc but I always seem to have this problem
    Any suggestions or thoughts as I'm still a newbie to xbmc.
    P.S. anyone know how to rip my 3d bluray collection so it will playback in helix?

      As I said in my post, I've tried spmc, but I'll give it another test and see what happens.

          Don't you need to set some permissions with spmc at every boot?

            @mike808 No spmc loads up the same as xbmc.

            So further testing and spmc seems to be the best option at the moment, but then today it won't play anything, all I get is the sound but no picture. When I disable the top and bottom codecs in hw acceleration I get picture and sound. But surely its better to have hw acceleration enabled for better playback options.

              Some of the latest roms including finless 1.8 are known to have interlace issue. Go back to finless 1.7 or try justme rom's if you don't need Bluetooth. So far i found justme to be smoothest android rom for my em8 box
