Media Box Blues (looking for a media player box)

I'm asking the old question, which media box to buy? I aready got the WD Live Hub. That was slow and un-hackable. I return that joker the same day. I see there are android and linx type boxes. So many brands. They always talk about the streaming aspects of the box. Frankly I just want a box I and plug a 3TB external hard drive (powered) into and it run fast. Bam, Xbmc pops and and away I go. I would like to take the box to a place where there is no internet and it work fine. I would like a box that could be hooked up to a network in the future. The box would need to be wireless "G" as well. Fast xbmc, I can't stress that enough. Streaming channels are nice, but they are not my focus. A remote that is simple and works, and a box that play all formats of media files. A box not more than a hundred dollars U.S.

So let's review. I'm looking for a box that...

    1. Is powerful. Loads movies in xbmc and menu is fast. Nice if Xbmc can be made to load first.

    2. Has the old A/V (RCA) output. [REQUIRED] and has a HDMi as well.

    3. Can play all video codecs. Mainly AVI's Xvid and DivX. .....a long with the Mp4's and Mkv's

    4. Can play subtitles for videos like anime. Like soft-subs in MKV'.

    5. Can it play videos from the 3TB Western Digital external (powered) HDD Book Format to Fat32?

    6. USB 3.0 ports is a big plus.

    7. Simple remote is a real plus. Not the crappy kind that has a number pad.

    8. Wireless a long with wired. Must support Wireless "G" router gateway.

    9. I'm not looking to build or have a computer built for Xbmc.

Right now my main issues to finding one powerful enough and have the old A/C (RCA) output. Also, one that play divX codec AVI files. I'm looking at the probox2. However, at the $150 price tag. It's a bit much, and I'm not sure it can do all the things I'm looking for.

I know this is a tall order. I've been looking for a long time. I'm at my wit's end with this. Can you help me?

The funniest thing about this particular signature of mine is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

I see a bunch of links to some nice items; but I'm not sure if they do what's on my list above. When I read about these boxes I don't get straight answers.

            1. Must play AVI (Xvid) video files

            2. Must have a lot of support. Fan support via a forum that is active.

            3. Must have confirmation that the box supports wireless G

            4. Must have confirmation that the box supports a hard drive formatted to fat 32, and is as large as 3TB.

            5. Has to have a A/V port.

            6. Must be powerful enough to play AVI's (Xvid codec) from a large hard drive without issues.

            7. It would be great if I can program the box to boot right into XBMC.

            8. The remote has to be responsive and fast.

There are so many boxes and so little confirmation on my the questions I have.
