M8 sd card usage

Hi a few questions please

What do you put on sd card? (once firmware is loaded what do people use sd card for and is it needed?

On board flash memory 8gb seems sufficient enough just for streaming.

M8 sd card usage

Mine contains different firmware I test, backup of my apps and a full TWRP backup of my current (prefered) firmware with apps etc.

Having a sdcard is always usefull but for serious storage a external usb drive would be better & depending on the OS and apks you might only have 4gb free, u´d be supprised how quickly that fills up but then I guess that depends how many apks you install, xbmc for example can grow to 1-2gb with the addons, thumbs and artwork, the metadata packs for icefilms alone are 700mb(ish). In summery I´d say standard 8gb fine for standard users but power users will proberly need more.
