my tab is totally loss.
after a restore from cwm and a corrupted sd card.
is my tab totally brikked
its stays on flash mode even if i cut the battery wires and connect again.
when i plug to pc direct connected on flashmode .
sow its done for me this is the third and last tab ever.
i hope you enjoy my latest snakegenmod.

Wow, SK. Sorry to hear that. I guess that means JB is a no go.

I think Bob mentioned the same thing happened to him.

The solution was to jump two pins on a chip...but I don't know the details. Hopefully all is not lost.

You may have to wait until Bob is back from his trip, though.

Sorry to hear that too.

But, you really threw it to the bin?

If you didn't, maybe you can try a few things. I had my 10G2 stuck in flash mode a few times. I really thought it was hard bricked. But it always went back from the dead, by using the reset button, the power button for a long time, then the reset button, and plugging/unplugging the usb and power chord.

I don't know the exact sequence, but a combination of all of these usually did the trick to come back from flash mode after a bad flash.

That's a shame - your roms were excellent!

See if you can get it out of the bin and try Petrus' suggestion - I remember Bob saying it's actually hard to totally brick a tablet unless you have a hardware failure.

i think it is my idb.
when i used for the first time the new loader from bob.
was my idb increased to 1024 instead of 2048 but the format was ok formatted too 1023 every time.
but the last time it was 998 and then it happened flash was succesfull with my snakegenmod again i did a backup and did immediately a restore and after reboot immediately a black screen.
i flashed my rom again idb ok and rom also ok.than you have on rktools after flash no rk..... found.
but here it stays on found rk.... .

As a last resort, what helped me was flashing the stock rom. Maybe try it before throwing your tablet to the bin

If it is found, don't throw it yet, there's hope

Maybe, you have a shitty nand memory, like me. But, I can have a working tab if I flash 3 times the same rom, even if the flash tools says it doesn't work. That's why I use linux tools which doesn't check flashed data.

Ok, your tab is half-broken, but you can use it for a lot of things... Comics reading or video at least.

I'm pretty sure you can get it back from flash mode.
The worst you can have is let it discharge in a corner of your room. Then charge it and it will work
But trust me, there are ways to reset it.

Your Arnova 9G ICS ROM works really well and I was really hoping you would be able to continue your great work. Hopefully someone on the forums can assist you to get your tablet back up and running.

Petrus, I'm wondering how you flash using Linux. I'm having to dual boot into Windows 7 each time I want to flash (normally run Ubuntu). Is there an easy guide to flashing using Linux?
