If you read the dates next to my firmware you'll know when it was released.
My firmware always has several improvements that the stock firmware doesn't have even if it's not based on the latest.
I forwarded several improvements to Nagrace so maybe they will release a new firmware next week or thereafter again.
Yeah, I noticed in their changelog some things that you had already implemented, that's why I thought maybe theirs was based on yours

    Cheers,

@mo123, is the v1.4 based on nagrace v150107? Or is it the other way around, that they released their firmware and incorporated your changes?

    Thanks,

For those of us with the nexton boards, can we use a super fast microsd? like this one

    Benchmarks:

It's also much faster than the ugoos emmc, but will the microsd reader support those speeds?
    Anyone tested the microsd slot?

    Thanks for the link.
You are right it does not work.
Shame as it looks very nice.

    Edit,
I extracted the Open Hour firmware and installed the system.img and it kind of works on my UT3, the odd crash from the open hour launcher.

    Mount a FAN?

@exo99. If you are so good with electronics and you can change eMMC then do it . It will explain one and for all if these stuttering/freezeing issues especially when using apps are connected with slow flash memory.

Second thing I would like to know is if one can connect small fan to 5V pads on the PCB. I think about probably fourth USB port in left corner (5V,DP,DM,GND) or RS232 on the right side (5V,TX,RX,GND). Are these pads connected to 5V external supply directly or by some IC? I wouldn't like to burn something on the Nexteon board.

I think so, I study the board after decide what todo.

Hi, yes I done the iptables fix, now my tronsmart works better, but still stuttering sometime.
I try to change the emmc with one more faster in the next days .... I go to my lab and bring the soldering

    Openhour fix stutter over smb/nfs

    hi,

Openhour had fix the stuttering with their last firmware (1.0.10) : http://forum.openhourlab.com/showthread.php?tid=419

    They wrote:
    System:
    - Fixed the playback random stuttering issue over SAMBA/NFS.
I want to know the solution!!!

Everything seems good to go with my changes. I also replaced the preinstall spmc 13.3 in the system.img with the 14.0 beta2.

You mentioned in the other thread that hw accel is through rklibstagefright. Does that mean I should disable libstagefright and mediacodec completely, or is it ok to leave them enabled?

    Thanks for all!
