For people that flashed v1.3 ROM(Android Only) you can probably reflash
boot,kernel & system, but not tested.
If you want all apps included it's better to stay on v1.3 ROM
Only use this if you want a clean ROM or working SPDIF passthrough.

You have to install catlog from Play Store and copy whole log when TV screen turns green, also provide all TV information and make a zip file. Then it can be sent to Nagrace and Rockchip to find a solution.

V1.3 ROM does have fake HDMI, but not as an app.
People reported that app doesn't work correctly on KitKat ROM's.

Alright! I will try that once I got in the mood of flashing again, but for now I am a bit annoyed, reverted back to stock beelink. Everything is working there, only wifi is much weaker, I only need the wifi improvements from the new roms. Is there a way?

make sure you have a 1.4 hdmi cable..... the latest version..... 1.3 on a Toshiba set of mine wont shake hands either until i changed cable.

Thanks for the idea. I have tried 3 cables. I have a handshake I guess, but somehow after using it for a while the described coloring happens. I think my cables are 1.4, but will check!

I have tried v1.3 (only android install). But with ROMs based on new SDK (111k4 I guess), I have a strange HDMI handshake issue, I have googled and it happens with Phillips TVs. My screen turns randomly green/blue for a minute or so, very annoying, only way to solve is to reconnect or switch input on TV then switch back. I am actively looking out for a solution, because the new ROMs has much faster wifi!
Any idea how to fix HDMI HDCP handshake?

Also, why v1.3 does not include fake HDMI output? (as in V1.2)

Please test new Kodi SPMC and report back issues.
List video codec, info and problems if any.

For passthrough support please try ROM v1.3.
Thanks to Koying for the releasing new version.
Nightly Kodi will now also support HEVC & improved Mediacodec from tomorrow, not sure about rewind/fforward yet.

Hi please add info that the screen will be black for 5 mins, the first time I flashed this I disconnected PSU because I thought something went wrong! Only after reading your V1.3 dual boot instruction was it clear that the screen is being black is normal.

I installed on R89, everything was working except sleep/shutdown. sleep was very slow to awake, and shutdown only restarted the device.

Yes, will be black screen after bootlogo.
Just be patient it will be normal.
If you see bootlogo then everything will work.

Remote of other devices will have a small problem unless you flash kernel & resource.img from your stock ROM of other device. I don't have remote drivers/changes of other devices for the kernel.

Please try ROM v1.3 if not already.

Yes it works great except you can't power off your r89 anyway.

i just need to know the file format on the text file. is it like the xml list that we use on livestream addon on xbmc

Plays m3u or xspf
Here are some you can try.
Can also load icon and xmltv EPG guide in settings to use with m3u list if the site/service supports it.
