    Boxes with hardware switch on/off

    Hi,

i'm doing a research, with some difficulties, around last gen android boxes with the ability to switch ON and OFF (that actually switches everything off, usb ports included), so that i can turn it on and off like a normal device with the sole use of remote control, not using the "sleep" function then.
I had one Minix Neo 5 and it had this kind of feature, but it's not enough powerful for the couple Android+XBMC, and i would like something from last gen.
I also have one generic RK3188 stick and a Beelink S82, but none of them can actually be turned on AND off with external remotes.
    Can anyone help?

    thx

You can take a look at Nagrace HPH NT-V6 Android TV Box. I have the version with 4Gb of RAM and 32Gb of Storage. And it works like a charm.

having a look now, looks interesting.
Does the box turn off external ports on switching off?

If the switch on/off is completely working i might give it a chance. Btw, it's a monster

Yes it does. When you power of the box via the remote all ports are switched off. There is another version with 2Gb / 16Gb if you prefer. The support from the supplier is another good thing. If you have questions you can ask Tina ([email protected]) or Candy ([email protected]) from Nagrace.

          good.
I was looking where to order it, and it seems atm not many sellers have it, could find only on aliexpress.
          Ill be digging more deep.

In the meantime, what about this Beelink

          ?

Same hw, but does it provide complete switch capabilities as the Nagrace?
Does someone has it to answer?

          thx

Regarding Beelink you can ask Oman from Geekbuying and also check the dedicated sub-forum here: http://www.freaktab.com/forumdisplay...k-3288-Devices

cant believe im the only one interested in complete power off/on feature ^_^

my main interest is in XBMC, so all i need is a device that can be turned off/on like a simple TV, with no power spread on external hard disks when its off, like a simple modern DVB decoder.
