Trying to mount a router attached hard drive

Ok need some help. I have a router which has a usb port on the back. I have plugged in an external hard drive and can see and move files to and from the hard drive to my Vega S89 using ES file explorer. I would love to be able to mount the folder on the harddrive such that I can download torrents directly to the harddrive connected to the back of the router. Can anyone help? Thanks :-)

Says it's for Nexus 7, but this guide may point you in the right direction, if it works you create a mount point for the drive which acts just like a folder on device http://reviewlagoon.com/nexus-7-tuto...re-as-a-drive/

Appreciate the link Neoman. I was on the right track but for the life of me I could not get the modules to load. I tried everything. I just get a gray check instead of the green one. Any other suggestions?

Looking around looks like 108k4 added support for CIFS, so it's possible the equivalent modules for the kernel on box are already loaded. Maybe try just skipping the loading part?
