Installing Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (Cyanogen Mod 10) on Polaroid 701C

It seems some people are confused by William's instructions (myself too at first) so here's my attempt at explaining in detail:

Requirements:
Micro SD Card
Current OS must be ICS

Pre 1). Backup your stuff!

1). Load the zip files onto a Micro SD Card and insert card into tablet.

2). Install CWM App.

3). Launch App (Killer Klinks CWM) and choose Option 1 - Install CWM Touch.

4). Once install completes. Shutdown your tablet and Power up normally.

5). Launch the App again and choose option 2 to reboot into CWM.

6). Once rebooted choose option to "install zip from sdcard" using hardware buttons on tablet.

Hardware Buttons:

• Power=Return to last option
• Home=Up
• Menu=Down
• Back=Select

7). Then select the zip "Step 1 Rom Wiper" from the zips on your SD Card

8). Repeat this process for the remaining zip files. I've named them in order of steps in my link above to assist you.

9). Once all 5 zips have finished installing it's time to use the power button to go back to the first screen and select the option "wipe data/factory reset"

10). Once reset has completed go ahead and select the option to reboot and you'll be ready to go!

BTW, just to add to that, though we lost the soft volume up/down/mute going to this, there's a nifty free app to 'replace' it in the play store called "volume in Notification". It works much the same way. Just FYI.
