Hi I am looking for a VPN to use with xmbc so I strolled over to google play and searched vnp wow 4 + stars shows hundreds of apps .
So I put paid only and I still get something like 75 apps. Any help is appreciated.

If you are using SmartDNSProxy, you don't need to root. Follow the steps here http://support.smartdnsproxy.com/cus...mart-dns-proxy

If you configure at DNS level, all your devices will be able to access Netflix. All your browsing traffic will go through their DNS. So it is better if you do it at android box level.

IP addresses of the devices connected to your router are internal IPs given by the router. External IP(public IP) for all the devices is just one(the one router gets from the ISP).

Consider using http://www.unblock-us.com/313.html and setting the DNS in your router. This will allow you to use their VPN services without any software being installed on the X8 or any device on your LAN.

I tried several for the last two years and eventually settled on NordVPN when they had a deal. Never had any issues so far with speed or delays of any kind. Relatively cheap but they're all pretty cheap at this point.
