CS918 Xbmc jerking

    CS918 Xbmc jerking

    hi folks new to this, ive tried xbmc a few times on windows pc and android phone. both devices work well and no problems.
    a mate of mine asked me to look at his box, its a CS918 and had xbmc version 12.1 installed. he removed it and installed 13.2
    when he tries to play movies or streams through xbmc it plays all jerky.
    is there anything that can be done to correct this?

    You need to install SPMC from the Play Store and only enable libstagefright in SPMC's settings.

      thats brilliant, works perfect. do i still need to have xbmc installed?

        You can delete it, the old XBMC uses different folders and is not needed anymore.

          I know this sounds stupid and I even googled it but I can't see where in spmc to enable lib stage fright? Any help

            I think you have to switch the 'Settings level' to [Advanced]
