I'm also trying to find info on this tab . It's made in China , shipped to California and sold thru Radio Shack exclusively . This tablet has potential but the stock rom stinks . I bought it a week ago and it's ok for the price but it's kind of slow . If anyone has successfully installed a custom rom on this tablet please post what you have . I doubt anything will come out for this tab in the near future because it's not that popular . I probably will take it back before the 30 days unless I can bet this unit running right without freezing up .

To install CWM, have you checked out the kkrom app? There are 2versions of it ,1for GB and 1for ICS.
Sent from my Polaroid 701c tablet running Cm10
      Can you post your specs?

reboot app will install a semi working version of cwm. that allowed me to do back ups. And go to the digix web site for
the new update. Its a lot better with it.

Reboot app ? KKROM ? I don't understand . Can you give more details as to how you got CWM installed with an app ? Even if it only partially installed it would be a breakthrough . I'm on the updated rom from Digix and it is better but I know this can run much better . I managed to install Modern Combat 3 on it and it runs it nicely . I have obtained root with no issues . This woul be a basement bargain with a custom rom and a rom / kernel . Specs as far as i know .... ALL WINNER A10 Cortex A8 1.2G - 512 ddr3 ram - mali 400 - 7" screen multi point - 4 gigs of storage - 3000Mah battery -.3mp front facing cam . Appreciate your help guys .

Guys in the meantime I have gotten this tab to run pretty stable . I flashed the updated rom from the Digix website using their tool and their instructions . Tab730 drivers didn't work on my win 7 x64 , funny thing is that the tab720 drivers worked for me just fine.
I installed the rom and did not install the Gapps . you still get Gmail when you install the stock rom . You can use the stock browser to go into Google play and play store will show up as an option . Go into recovery and wipe cache and factory reset after flash . Root and instal apps . I'm using Apex launcher in tab mode .
This install worked well for me . Ran Modern Combat 2 flawlessly . Try it out until something comes out if someone is kind enough to come thru for us . I would but don't know a thing about rom / recovery development .
For the record , stock recovery mode is enabled by pressing and holding -volume , then press power until the first small android logo , then release the power but do not release the -volume until the big android logo comes on screen and then release -volume . Recovery is revealed by pressing the home button . Navigate with volume buttons and power button selects the options .

              digix 730g root method

              Here's how i rooted my 730g .

First download the 720 USB drivers (i know but it works) http://www.digixmedia.com/Support/Do...B%20Driver.rar
then get root and recovery by Bin4ry http://ul.to/xdevcthz
              unzip
set your tab to USB Debugging mode and run root&recovery in normal mode (option 4)
              and enjoy
