FYI Petrus, your kernel booted fine for me but was just a little slow for some reason. Other than that everything worked so it shows the drivers all were integrated fine.

Thanks bob. you already told me that, and it was really good to know my kernel could finally be booted somewhere. But really frustrating not to be able to boot it on my tab... :[ I have a 22pro version. is that the one you used to test my kernel?

Anyway, if I have to test, maybe I should use a version as close as possible to the stock one. Do you have a version with no ext4 modules? A really early one? Or even a kasty version? (jokin on that one, but if you have a really early version of your first rom, with only a kernel.img separated from the boot.img, that may help me)

héhé, thanks man, but I was talking in fact for myself (with only a 10G2 tab).
But your link will be useful. Maybe the best way to test my kernel (which was compile with default parameters) is with a rom as close to stock as possible, so that we know the additional modules loading is not the problem.

OK crap.... it's not going to be that easy! The Stock ROM is CRAMFS for system.img which means read only. So I can make you this or use one of my older ROMs that is EXT3. What would you like?

There were NO insmod KO modules for EXT3 and it should work with any working kernel. I think from my point of view it would be best to use a EXT3 ROM for testing?

If you agree here is one of my first Arnova 10G2 ROMs taken apart and EXT3. It's an EARLY root of the stock ROM where system is converted from CramFS to EXT3. This is EXACTLY the same as the stock ROM except EXT3 and google store 3.4.4 added. Again this should for sure NOT effect a good kernel test.
