    pmid701i x10 display problem

After returning my 701c because of a faulty screen, I was sent back a 701ix10 which worked for a day.
After flashing firmware it worked again.
If I press the screen dimmer on the power widget the lowest setting turns the screen completely black!
Not being able to see the widget it`s hit or miss getting it back on.
A reboot or system reset would come up with a black screen. Polaroid/internet tablet/ice cream sandwich for 7s then black.
    So I deleted the widget.

Does anyone know of a way to change the default minimum brightness to something visible? Or another widget with that functionality?maybe a .prop edit.

    User error or bad design.

If all you're trying to do is adjust the brightness (without a widget) just go into the settings/display and change the slider, or am I missing what your'e asking?

Yes I can adjust the brightness in settings. What I'm trying to do is to have the lowest brightness level visible. Not a black screen. When the screen is black there is no way to turn it back on unless I'm extremely lucky or I reflash firmware. Not being able to see where to touch is a catch-22. See I loaned the tablet to my brother, and I don't want to repeat this ad infinitum.

On all my other tablets the lowest brightness level has always been visible. Not this one. So I'm looking for a setting for the default brightness levels.
