maybe a stupid question?
will this works?
first take a backup with cwm.
copy the system.img to the pc.
now take the cwm custom rom zip file you downloaded.
than open it with 7zip (don't extract it).
in the system folder replace everything with your cwm system.img backup.
close the zip file now.
i wonder if you flash this now with cwm if you have a working stock system?

thats kind of a scarey thought sk, lets try to get a stock dump for sure first then i'll play around

ok guys i successfully got a system.img from my tablet if anyone wants to do it i can give you details
so just ask .
i also have links to stock firmware for several build numbers if nobody can find them
now i'm gonna try a couple of different roms and see whats up .
