Multiple issues w/ different apps (XBMC, Plex, Skype) on my X8-h
Multiple issues w/ different apps (XBMC, Plex, Skype) on my X8-h
1. XBMC
IPTV and other stream videos play back w/ no audio and missed frames. Looks like its fast forwarded).
2. Plex app playback isn't smooth.
3. Can't log in to Skype at all. I knwo I'm giving it the right credentials.
I've tried looking for other threads on this ... but can't find a working solution. I reset my box multiple times and am now running Beta 009-2. Same issues.
I had issue #1 but it was due to using a theme in xposed module I think. I turned off that module and rebooted and haven't seen it again. Same beta I'm running.
2. Haven't tried Plex since my PC is burned out , I have no server.
Also, I've seen issue 1 when there was another music app in my notification drop down/background. Stop the app and video will play at reg speed with audio on.
Looks like Plex/XBMC issues were due to HDMI issues. I had x8-h auto detect it and playback after was very smooth.
The blank screen in XBMC streaming was due to the hardware acceleration codec. I disabled 2 of the 3 codecs and streaming is working now properly as well.
