Maybe the build in reader is spec 3.0 and because the read (Sequential/Random 512) at the QUMOX is much faster, the first boot is also much faster at the QUMOX...
But of cause we need the running system and not the preparing system
First I tried it with the QUMOX, because I know it has good Sequential reads...
I'm using deadhp1 Linux at SD (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post267520) THX

USB Ports / SATA Port
You maybe would ask your self, why do I also test the SATA at the same post?
Because the SATA Port is connect to an internal USB 2.0 root-hub...
I use the QUMOX SD at a Transcend TS-RDF5K USB 3.0 reader because of the reader test above I already have an ext4 partition at it.
Code:/dev/sdb7 on /media/linaro/1ba5ba96-17c8-4a63-b88a-cbc7b1a7822e type ext4 (rw,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=udisks2) sudo ./iozone -e -I -a -s 50M -r 4k -r 512k -r 16M -i 0 -i 1 -i 2 -f /media/linaro/1ba5ba96-17c8-4a63-b88a-cbc7b1a7822e/iozone.dat

Now I use the external USB 3.0 HDD which I know it works at the USB 3.0 at Android...

eMMC/NAND performance
I tested the eMMC/NAND performance at Linux.
With dd
1. First I set the governor to 'performance'
su
echo performance > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
2. For the write test I use this command
dd if=/dev/zero of=speedtest bs=1M count=1000 oflag=direct conv=fdatasync
3. For the read test I use
dd of=/dev/null if=speedtest bs=1M count=1000 iflag=direct
I done the write and read 3 times
Write: 14.8 / 15.2 / 15.3 MB/s
Read: 35.3 / 35.3 / 35.2 MB/s
The writes are ok but I have to say the reads could be better...
With iozone
Filesystem benchmark freeware performance iozone disk IO solaris bsd freebsd netbsd bsdi hpux aix posix thread cluster file mmap async bsdi stream OSF Windows SCO read write NFS

Hello all,
I've bought the draco aw80 telos a few months ago and I'm very happy with it' I'm using kodi ysengaard and I had no problem but a few weeks ago the box shut itself down for no reason after a while, mostly when I'm running amovie or running an app for example sdmaid or a game emulator.
I've reset the box to factory settings, same behaviour.
I've putted the "finally v0.1" rom on an sd to boot on it but the box continues to shutdown randomly.
Can someone help me ?
Thanks a lot

Hi!
Did you noticed any abnormal heat on the box while playing your movies?

Hello OlivDur,
Not at all, the box shuts down and I have to unplug and replug the power supply to make it run again but then after a while it shuts again.
It runs for about 30 minutes and it goes down with no warning.

Not at all, the box shuts down and I have to unplug and replug the power supply to make it run again but then after a while it shuts again.
It runs for about 30 minutes and it goes down with no warning.
Hi!
I would advise this ROM https://yadi.sk/d/LvyEAtxuihGX2 It's the most stable I've had so far.
If you still get the reboot issue, that might be hardware problem (either box or power unit)
Good luck!

"I had the same problem but i fixed it . What you have too do is open the hole box open and remove the heat sink and take the huge thermal pad off the board . Its one huge pad that covers the board and chips its an huge no no . So you have too cut the pad too fit the small chips just so it covers the chips and only the chips and then place the heat sink back on the chips. Its like three prongs that hold it down"
