I made a post earlier about testing reports of two devices one based on RK3288 and one on amilogic S802 CSM8. The former played everything I threw at it including .lge .ts .265 .hevc etc and my own CSM8 couldn't play any only mp4 format.

You can check the specs here: http://www.dhgate.com/product/csm8-m...1-1|3178238954
The RK3288 did without going into xmbc. Mx player could straight away play all the formats.

Anyway, it should play out of the box like it's advertised, shouldn't require xmbc to play. Also xmbc doesn't support 4k resolution in settings.
and this
i dont have 4k tv.

Hoping that some new fw can bring in decoding of these formats.

(This could happen if you post the same again and again at different threads)
If you use XBMC I think they where right and the box IS able to support H.265 BUT as I wrote at the other thread no hw support, but come on, the SoC is powerful enough to handle it by sw...RK3288 Devices

Anyway I guess i'm unlucky to have 4K TV as it seems to be rare thing here and not much support on that front so better wait till some devs get their hands on 4K tvs.
