T8 vs M8 need opinions

I have been hearing about the T8 Amlogic, I have the M8 and like it I use openElec which is super fast. I want to put that on an upstairs TV for the kids and was interested in the T8

i am wondering what the differences is between the T8 and M8 specifically. I have read the specs but would like opinions from people who own one or both. How's the speed, video quality, how's XBMC run on it, HD movies, is it worth it , the good and the bad etc...

Same situation as you with the M8, loves the metal case and front display pannel the areial should help out with the crappy wifi too, I´d like to hear more from owners .

I picked up one of each. They both run just fine using XBMC 13.2
From what I recall the biggest difference was the T8 is suppose to allow you to install internal hard drive.
It only has 3 usb ports and offers optical out. The M8 has 4 usb ports, no optical out and no room for internal hard drive. Outside of that they both have the S802 with 2GB ram and 8GB internal storage. Both run the same firmware as well.

Thats interesting about adding an internal hard drive, that could come in handy.
so I'm assuming your speed is pretty much the same on both. I like the openElec on my M8 so a T8 would be for more than just XBMC/Kodi for me.
