External Drive for MK808B V5 realtek device?

Guys what type of external drive can I use for a MK808B running V5 1.1 Rom? I have a WD 2 TB external drive but it only sees it as a USB device. I can't open the external drive to view files.

The drive uses NTFS file system. Sould I format the external drive for Fats32?

Let me ask it is a KitKat Rom?
All you need is the Modules (ko Module) to Support NTFS.

No its 4.2.2.

I need to study more. Not sure what modules are. I'm a new guy to playing with droid and computer systems. Thank you for the direction.
