Init.d support for ug802?

    Init.d support for ug802?

    Folks, I was thinking. I can add init.d support to my next ROM. WHat this will allow is ability to run scripts on boot. FOr instance a very popular script is SuperCharger V6. It can change memory, etcand increase performance. This might possibly fix sync issues?

            Have any of you all used the V6 supercharger before?
            For ICS or JB, it is somewhat complicated to mod services.jar. So do you guys know how to do it or are willing to read the instructions and try it?

              Yes I have, buggering with my HTC Desire over the past year.
              That said, instructions would be a good idea as there are bound to be some who haven't posted that they're willing to play but will once the rom is out and this thread grows

                I've tried Supercharger V6 on my ug802. I got it to change Launcher priority and memory. And it seems to set on boot. I feel like the device is more responsive now.

                Do you know what settings might be best on the UG802? Theres a few different options, 17 I think..

                  It probably saves on boot because it is using the other method of recovery.sh handling. It's not the same as init.d support BUT it also can work with V6. As for which settings. I have no clue for this device. When I use it on other tablets I have to try a few different settings and see what I get.

                  BTW are you getting 100% supercharge on the check after reboot? When you run V6 after the first reboot it will run and tell you what your % of supercharge is.

                      OK so it is saving it. Must be using recovery.sh

                      To get the other 50% you need to mod the services.jar. I may do that for everyone when I get the time.

                        I did some more work, and It's now on 100% Supercharged. It's really snappy!

                          Cool! Can you share your services.jar file? I can add it to my next ROM and give credit.

                          So let me ask..... did it solve the audio sync issues?

                          Also can I ask you to check something. Can you look in /system/etc and see if there now exists a init.d directory?
