    Question about flashing stock firmware

I have a few questions about flashing the stock firmware to my DIAOTEC MX3 2G/8G (square):
Will it be the same way it was when it was new out of the box (rooted with all the apps) ?
Does it automatically delete the internal SD card or do I have to manually delete it before flashing it ?
I will be flashing the stock firmware from this thread http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...eedback-thread , yes ?

    Thanks

      The 109k4 build is rooted.
Once flashed it will be a "virgin" device with only the app's included in the firmware.
The firmware zip includes a Factory_param file which should erase the data on the internal sd card but it doesn't always work? When you boot the device to recovery you can manually erase data + cache

Within the tronsmart sub forum you can find a modded version of 109k4 by Finless. From what I read it's an improvement on the original stock firmware and it does do the "clean" install correctly. Within the download zip there is also detailed flash instructions by Finless so I'd advice that over the stock build.

Hope this helps you out bro

No probs, there also be an issue with your bluetooth operation on 109k4 and the mxIII. But like me if you don't really use bt it won't affect you.

I flashed the stock firmware without a problem. Going to try the Finless rom next.
Is the flasher driver compatible with Windows XP ? I know Finless is flashed via an SD card but if I decide to go back to stock I would like to use my small XP netbook.

How do you flash the stock if you have to ask if it also works at XP ?
Of cause the tool and the drivers works at XP (instead of e.g. w8.1 )...

I already flashed the stock firmware with a windows 7 laptop. Some drivers dont work with older XP computers, that why I asked, I want to use my XP laptop instead of the windows 7 laptop

Hey man.... I'm a windows 7 + ubuntu user so I can't 100% verify if it's gonna work with xp but my gut feeling is that it will. If you where thinking of using a machine with vista or windows 8.# I'd be saying best of luck

BTW I use the sdcard method whenever possible it's just easier and you don't need the hook up, just the tiny card.
The only time I've really used burning tools with AML devices is to unbrick or try and repair damaged drivers / hardware.
