Hi I have the Mbox U-M8 S802 android box, I tried to root my box from a sd carm get the verification error, same when I tried to upgrade firmware official and custom, any help would be much appreciated.

"upgrade firmware official and custom" => often you have to unzip it firstly (because normal archiv) to get the files which you can use...RK3288 Devices

No spam, I tried that, it did exactly the same thing, I want to put a finless rom on it, because I have another box which I got from Droidsticks, it comes rooted when you buy it. I want to install stanes1983 gotham 13.2, but when I do, it is way out of sync, to much out that it cant be fixed within xbmc. Any ideas?Comment

Do you have to flash firmware with a sd card or does a usb stick work
As it says in the subject been trying with usb stick, only to get a verification fail.Comment

You can also use an USB device...
