I don't know the HiSilicon Hi3798C and also google don't know much more about this SoC ... so I think it isn't a really good idea to thinking about this SoC if you want to have any support

Like the RK3288 boxes have good support! Common as muck and crap to the max. LOL

The HiSilicon Hi3798C is developed specifically for android media playback. HiMedia are a subsidiary of HiSilicon.
