Cube Talk 9x cannot pair with Mi Band via Bluetooth

Hi,

I just got my Mi Band and tried pairing it with my tablet. Unfortunately, the tablet cannot find the Mi Band. I did test the band with my smartphone where it worked just fine. That said, I had to pair it via the Mi Band app that goes with it since pairing it manually ends with the "incorrect PIN" error message. This happens with both phone and tablet, though with the former you can at least pair it via the app which does not work with the tablet.

Questions:

1) Did anyone manage to get the Mi Band to work with their Talk 9x? Or maybe just another tablet?
2) Any idea how to make them pair? Clearly they can see each other as BT devices via the manual BT connection setting but since you cannot enter PINs on a simple device such as the band this won't work.

I am using 900supersport's custom 1.8 ROM (thanks again for that one btw!) and Xposed Framework with Gravity Box. Aside from that, the tablet is pretty much stock.

The problem seems to be running deeper than just being unable to connect to the Mi Band: It also refuses to receive or send files via BT from my other phone. Any ideas as to what could cause this?

Does BT file sharing/pairing work for any of you?

EDIT: I don't even have an option to share via Bluetooth with the standard File Manager on the Cube so I can't initiate the transfer from there. I can do this via the phone but there is no notification or anything on the Cube that it even tried to so besides the message that it failed.

I have some BT problems as well. I can't connect to my toyota touch and go car audio system. But there are more people complaining about that with other brands (Samsung Sony...). Google said that this issue should be solved with android 4.4 but its not!

Don't know if this is the same problem as yours but please write if you've found something to fix it. I would appreciate your help.

Thanks, this helped me share files between my phone and tablet whereas it wouldn't work before.

Unfortunately it still won't connect to the Mi Band though.
