    WiFi Connection always lost after a few seconds

    Hi,

    today i got my beelink r89 device 16k version with AC support. It has the build number 110k4.
    But my problem is, that the wifi signal is always lost after a few seconds. First i have 2 signal bars and then the signal is lost. All my other devices have a stable signal at that place.

    Any Ideas how to fix this without a cable?

    Try another channel on the router could be interference.

      Thank you for your reply. Switched to a channel, no one other is using. signal is not better, but stable. Thanks for the hint

        How far away is the router?
        Often a distance of 1-2 meters is too near....

          Router is in the flor of the top of the room with rhe r89. I would say round about 5 meters direct line.

          But up to now wlan signal seem to be ok. I was able to stream from netflix and update apps without interuptions. As long i have stable 1 to 2 bars, i hope everything is fine

            Hi,

            I'm having the same issue. Beelink was working fine for 4 first days, but just now it started to have wifi issues. Right now in order to reconnect I need to disable the wifi and turn it back on after. The issue is that it's keeping the connection until i'll try to play some video, visit website, download app. As soon as the data will start floating through the wifi it disconnect

            I'm using a 5GHz network so there should be no interferences. Any ideas guys ?

            Thanks,
            Jakub

              I read the change log from RK:

              wifi->ap6335:
              1.update the fireware;
              2.strengthen the new module compatibility.

              We will imply it in next ROM ,hope it should work.

                  Hi

                  I have the same problem, mainly YouTube is the worst. WiFi still showing connected but I get a message of can't connect to server. Same with BBC iplayer and other apps but definitely the worst is YouTube. Have to turn WiFi off and on to restore the connection. My box is beelink r89 2gb/16gb. Can we get a patch to fix it please before waiting for the full Rom release as the issue is very annoying. My current Rom is the latest 110k4 and my WiFi is 2.4 Ghz. Thanks

                      Have you also try to force another channel (at 2.4Ghz -> 1-11) at the router?
                      Because it could also be a problem because of to many neighbours at WiFi (also to many using the same channel)...
                      BTW: at 2.4Ghz -> 1, 3 and 11 are generally the best channels...

                        Thanks for your reply, I used a wifi analyzer to check neighbours networks and used channels then I changed to the best channel as recommended by the wifi analyzer but the problem still there. Wifi connection is still showing as connected on the R89 and other devices are working fine but still no internet.
                        I did a lot of research before moving from my old rk3066 device. I decided to buy R89 as it seemed to be a lot of forum support and frequent updates to sort out these issues. I just wondered whether there is any patch to temporary fix this before the next Rom release. This evening the problem got worse and I rstarted the wifi around 10 times so far. If this continued tonight I will revert back to RK3066 waiting for a Rom update.

                        Thanks

                            Try Wifix manager: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...d.wifixmanager

                            It improved the situation in my case a bit (I changed wifi region to EU), but might be placebo, did not fully fix it. When did you buy your box? I have PCB 3.0 and it is really annoying.
