Overscan Problem using RCA cables on Beeline round S82
I got one of the boxes that the HDMI port quit working after one week of using it. Being I bought it from China to return it for warranty costs as much as I paid for it in the return postal fees. What a waste of money and I recommend buying another brand to save yourself from this problem. I have been trying to use RCA cables on it with my HDTV plugging it in to the RCA jacks on it so I can still use it but it has this problem. It will have the correct size picture for the screen on some shows but on others the picture is way to big so you only see a small part of the picture. After it does this a restart of the S82 is needed to get it back to normal picture. Then as soon as you happen to go to a channel that causes this huge pic your in the same boat again. Does anyone know of any way to use this box with RCA cables? If you have any ideas please pass them on. Thanks much!Tags: None

Why don't you resoldering the HDMI-port or looking for someone who can do it (maybe local TV/Radio dealer)?
I think better then A/V or RMA...

I actually figured out a setting in XBMC that got the pix straightened out , but your right the av cable route has a pix thats not that good and should try to resolder the port. Its usable for now. I wish I could do it but my 68 year old hands are so shaky my soldering days are over. I figured I would try and call a few places and see what they want to do it. I read another link about the bad solder job on these but did not see the one you sent me. I'am amazed at how many people had this same problem. Thats a real crappy company that soldered these boards up, wouldn't you say??
