Attention Acemax & Enybox

You tend to shout allot on your website on how to buy original box from you guys and that you always have up to date software and always updating, although it's been 2 month since last release

We ACEMAX's Original Only. and we keep on working on our products software.

Do not waste your money on cheap clone boxes, ACEMAX boxes have the unique software and always software updating.

Thinking about buying a knock-off? Think again! Clone boxes will not be running the same firmware as ACEMAX box. Our unique software is tied to the specific hardware in our device and is not installable outside of our manufacturing process. What does this mean for clones? They’ll be left in the dust...

Although you seem to leave it up the people to develop your roms or finish them off, For people wanting a box please support Beelink and don't buy the garbage of acemax.or enybox, If your going to make bold statements like then be prepared to honour your statement

the only time you see them in here is when they have something to sell

first many thanks for your hardworking on our M8...(now m8n) boxes...
and also many other warm hearted guys such as Finless, Codesnake..... All of your great job are highly appreciated.

until now Amlogic not provide us much improvements on their code, that is why we have not updated the software yet, and put into our website, however, if Amlogic provided, we will publish at once...if we just put some apks, put some add ons into the software, it can not be named as updating software.

as far as i know, beelink now having 110k4, but compared with 109k4, no much improvements at all.

now in the market, many guys copy our software, copy our mac address...selling their products with crazy cheap prices....but they can use only our software dated before Sep 2014.

That is why we put the words on our website.

why not push them for an update your are selling enough boxes people were posting interlace issues etc and other problems but I did not see acemax address this issue for it's customers who bought this box thinking they would get better support

Avoid those companies.
They try to sell as many boxes as possible.
Release new products then completely abandon older products with zero support, buggy firmware, and inferior 2-3x slower RAM,NAND chips that damages users experience of Android boxes, just to decrease costs. There are other companies that fix users issues, provide support & firmware updates that people should rather support.

I registered just to reply to this thread. I have been lurking here for the last while.

It's about time someone said it. The support for these boxes has been downright pathetic, and these companies seem to have no shame. That was made quite clear when a representative of acemax replied to this thread seemingly trying to sell the new boxes.

I'm dumping my M8 in favor of a minix box. I have no more confidence in a company that seems to have little interest in supporting the product they sell.

BTW:
If I'm not wrong MINIX got a new SDK 3 or 4 weeks ago (I think also netxeon).
Why I don't read about so much problems at video quality at Netxeon and also MINIX like at Acemax/Eny ???

It's not just firmware.
One of the reasons they lock the firmware on their boxes so that 'clone' companies don't use it is because they put 'firmware tricks' into their boxes to fake Antutu scores(on AMLogic boxes) and make system show 2GB RAM while there is actually only 1GB real RAM, was present on their RK3188 boxes.
Their RK3288 boxes also get halve the read/write scores(Androbench) of Beelink and other RK3288 manufacturers because of low quality RAM & EMMC to lower costs.
