    XBMC Video choppy on M8

    Hello,

Recently got a square M8 box (k200) and its running the stock rom and the stock XBMC.

Everything seems to be ok soo far but when I play a HD movie on XBMC...the video is a bit choppy as if the bitrate is a bit low...no issues loading the stream as I can see that the net speed in doing its work..BUT still choppy video on SD as well as HD...any suggestions to fix it..??

    Thanks

Try SPMC from the Play Store.
For any ENY/Acemax boxes, you are going to have firmware and hardware issues.
Better to avoid anything from those companies.

I can probably still return the box.. What box would you suggest?

If you can spend some more, an HPH RK3288 or Beelink RK3288 is much better and can play 4K video perfect in XBMC/SPMC. Can also dual-boot Linux. Boots up in 15-25 seconds, app opening and web browsing is wonderful and fast. Can also play the latest games without stuttering. Firefly RK3288 device's firmware is also open and universal compatible with these RK3288 devices.

... and if you want to use a S802 take a 'MXiii' with 2GB RAM so you can use every fw for the round devices by/for beelink and tronsmart.

I looked at MXiii and it seems to have exactly the same specs as the M8...how is it better then..??

Specs are only one aspect and should be nearly the same at all S802 devices (expect WiFi (single/dual), RAM and NAND size) ...
I don't know if the MXIII 2GB RAM uses better RAM and NAND then the square M8, BUT the other aspect, the fw support (also here at the forum) is much better (why do you think justme port an beelink-rom to the square M8 instead of using a square M8 rom for modding) !

seems nobody talking about MXIII boxes HDMI port issues, and not boot up issues?
as far as i know, they have one batch goods, bad PSU, and dead rate upto 30%.
