Hi I just received my new
M8 Amlogic S802 Quad Core Cortex A9 2.0GHz Bluetooth 2.4G/5G Dual Wifi XBMC Streaming Player 4K Hdmi Android 4.4 KitKat OS TV Box With Tronsmart RJ45 Ethernet Adapter

I plugged all the wires in and it booted properly, I then tried to install finless1.8, install showed the Android Robot with the status bar moving along to the right. All of a sudden as the status bar moved to the right the connection between the box and TV was lost and the screen went dark.

Now when I turn the box on while holding the reset button I get this screen. I have no idea what to do please help, your assistance is much appreciated.

just select the apply update from ext

10) Now select SDcard and you should see the file em8_finless18.zip. Select it.
11) Recovery will install the update and drop you to the main recovery menu.
You will see messages I have added about what it is doing. Watch for errors.
12) Once this is installed, select Reboot Now and the system will reboot and the ROM will be installed.
Enjoy your done!

I am able to complete all of the steps above but after selecting "reboot now" my TV screen just goes blank, I waited a few minutes but nothing happens. It doesn't appear the box has rebooted. I unplugged the power and plugged it back in but I still get a blank TV screen.

Also a question about the remote, does the power button do anything? I've been hitting the power button and it doesn't seem to turn box on or off. The other buttons work fine. When the box is turned off does the blue light go out?
