How to set custom resolution ldpi (1280x1024) on UB802 ?

    How to set custom resolution ldpi (1280x1024) on UB802 ?

    please advise how to set ldpi resolution (1280x1024 at 75/85 hz) on ug802
    I use old vga monitor with hdmi -> vga converter and it's not good for me to see verticaly stretched picture
    any suggestions?

    I do not believe this is possible. What's in settings is all there is and TVs do not support monitor frame rates!
    60hz is max!

      HDMI output only supports set resolutions(720P, 1080P, etc) You cant customize the resolution or refresh rate outside of those.

        Nope! hdmi supports ldpi resolutions too! PAL and NTSC not hdpi only! a lot of android tablets with sxga resolution and ics

          Yes I agree tablets do support this but unfortunatly NOT this device!

          However, if you participate in my BETA 1.5 ROM, I can make you a tablet version that should work.

              Androgin, here is what I want you to try!

              1) download my BETA 1.5 ROM for the ug802 here:

              http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-BETA-TEST-ROM

              2) Then go download my Yaundao 1.7 ROM from here:

              http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...Init-d-(fixed)

              3) Unzip them both.

              4) Then take the system.img file from the Yuandao 1.7 ROM and put it into the FInlessROM folder of the ug802 BETA 1.5 ROM. Flash the entire thing.

              I BET YOU, you will now have a working system on that monitor.
              Let me know.

                Should I replace systemBETA.img from 1.5 with system.img from 1.7 or keep them both?

                  You can rename the system.img from the yuandao ROM to systemBETA.img and rename the existing systemBETA.img to systemBETA.old. Then the flash tool will just pick up on it.

                  Or an easy way that this tool provides is run it and on the far right of the system.img line is a little box. Click it and point it to the FinlessROM/system.img file you put in there from the yaundao ROM!

                  Thats the cool part of this flash tool! You can choose and flash different parts!

                    Can't connect via Fineless ROM flash tool. Do all according to instruction but no result. mass Storage -> MediaCenter -> Mass storage - and no results.
                    FRFT - No Found RK AndroidRock USB.... What to do I don't know.

                        Ok, I have flashed UG, it works perfect but

                        hdmi resolution from Settings doesn't change monitor resolution at all.
                        maybe somehow i can change it to 1280x1024, edit some file, etc?
