Quick heads up, the new official V2 firmware is now available from the MINIX Forums for manual installation. OTA update should be available in a week or 2. I'll update this thread in a bit with a link.

Hi all, I'm with the ROM ( Finless 1.0 ROM for the Minix X8 ), it is possible to install, the new Firmware 002?

Or, you have to reinstall the original firmware before?

Where Did the Frequency Shifter Go in V2?

I installed V2 and can't find the auto frequency shifter program. Where did it go? Does it have to be added manually now?

Gee he is so fast, that I´m hitting F5 every 5 min hopping for a Finless mod or rom.

Everything works great however can't access Nas through SMB in XBMC. Reading various forums it could be a fault with latest version of XBMC not firmware. Hopefully Bob can work his magic...

For now you can just install a previous version of xbmc where SMB is working or a recovery of your xbmc backup.

I can't wake it up from Sleep Mode with a RF remote now like with v001 !

Firmware V2

Can this be ported to MXIII or at least some of the improvement fixes, Seems Probox 2 EX works on Minix but not the other way around. I am busy trying to figure it out.
