    1. are you sure the Ethernet-cable is OK?
    2. do your router do DHCP also at Ethernet (not only at WiFi)? Maybe something else is wrong at the router?
    3. do try to use static IP instead of DHCP?

        2. because I don't know your router I can't help at this point but have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic...ation_Protocol BUT if it works with the ps4, I think everything is fine (the router also handle the DHCP at Ethernet)

        3. at Settings at Ethernet you can select 'static IP' and enter what ever IP / DNS / GW you want...

hmmm, are you sure you use the right IP / DNS / GW address? Maybe use the same the ps4 gets via DHCP (of cause not connected to the router at that moment) and maybe use not only the same cable but also the same port at the router, also reset the router... are you able to disable DHCP at the router?
Any change to test it at another router (maybe at a friend)?

Worst case the port at the box is faulty...

                What is a HAG?
I try to find out and find this https://translate.google.de/translat...web.info%2Fhag , if this is right, it only means a router by your ISP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_service_provider )...
These routers are sometimes castrated at setup (possibility to change some settings)...but at my one I can change e.g. DHCP settings at Network / LAN ...

                  Hi
I had the same problem with the original firmware (mid august), couldn't connect to my router/box with ethernet, either DHCP or Static
With the more recent firmwares ... I can connect but the bandwidth is extremely low (2Mb/s) so I switched to Wifi (30Mb/s) and I'm waiting for a bugfix ... waiting ... waiting ...

Sometimes, but only sometimes, there exists incompatibility between 100MBit and 1GBit Ethernet devices (cards and routers/switches) so worst case it could not be fixed by software...

I'm wondering, because at the beginning you wrote Ethernet isn't working... so how do you fix it? And last but not least maybe not really good fixed (also because of the problems at the beginning, maybe some incompatibility, who knows)?
