Just found this community. Cool. Question about audio lag over HDMI.

Hi! I received my device about 2 weeks ago, and am loving it. I'm using it with a ps3 controller, mainly for playing emulators and movies through showbox. It is pretty sweet.

    I have some questions though.

    1) Is this the official development community? If so, out of curiosity, why is it here and not on XDA?

    2) I am getting about a half second audio lag when playing audio through the HDMI cable (the one that came with the device) to the TV. Is anyone else experiencing that, and if so, what can we do about it?

Thanks for any help! And again, this device is awesome.

    1. What means "official development community"? Also XDA will never be an "official" development community, only maybe another development community...

    2. If you talk about xbmc/kodi, there exist a way at the Audio/Subtitle ODS at [Audio offset] to fix it http://kodi.wiki/view/Video_playback...title_settings...

I mean, xda is probably the most used site for developers. When I say official, I meant the biggest, not that it is sanctioned by the company or anything.

And that is good to know. I'll try out xmbc next time I watch a movie. I'm getting lag with any audio through HDMI though, including games and other apps. I'm curious if it is the HDMI cord, my TV, or the device itself that is causing it.

      Thanks for the advice

In general, no audio lag here. Might wanna try another cable or reflashing the firmware.
