    Fully Loaded Q7

    Hi!
    I found this on AliExpress

Last time I bought TV Box, it was problems to set up custom ROMs etc. Terible wifi range, wifi interfering with remote control receiver. I gave it away to my ex.. she can keep that shit.

I don't want to hassle again, so this Fully loaded option is intriguing me. Is that for real that you can watch all those channels on Xbmc without additional charge ? I dont mind to pay some little extra $$$ just to get Plug and Play. I like that it's already 4.4 and 2g/8g.

But first I would like to confirm that it's a real deal. And how is the WiFi range for this thing ? I have some issues with WiFi as router is on 1st floor.
    Cheers

You read about all the troubles with Q7 devices here at the board (e.g. 1GB ram instead of 2GB, no 1080P kernel, no custom roms...)?
Nearly all these preloaded stuff to get (also illegal) content, you can install manually at XBMC via the right add-ons (btw: one of these sources stopped the last days)...
If you want to pay ~85 USD for this, I think you should take some more bugs for a rk3288 device (e.g. UBOX/Beelink or HPH) and you will be (more) happy with it... and order an air-mouse separately (this one you can get for less then 15 USD)...

Sorry to intrude on this post, but you mentioned: 1GB ram instead of 2GB. Is this a rule for all Q7 boxes? I know that chinese android products can be faked to show as much ram as they want, so what is the best option to confirm the exact amount of ram?

Without having to buy it? No way to find it out... maybe the only way would be: buy it at a trusted dealer.

I have it at home, my question was how to check if it really has 1G ram. Chinese android releases mostly have faked firmwares reporting the units with 2G ram. I know a tool for MTK, but I don't know for Rockchip.
          Or just open the unit

Open the unit and check if there are 2 RAM chips of 512MB.
Or flash a custom ROM from another device to it. Then use a system utility or RAM cleaner to check actual RAM. Then flash stock ROM back again. The first batch of Q7(Mediatek/Other wifi) all had fake RAM, but not sure of the newer batches with different wifi(Realtek).

Some software(not remember) gave me info: faked 2 Gb ram, it is this trustable?
