2 Boxes Choosing the same IP Address! How can I fix this?

I have 2 M8 boxes running the Linux XBMC and they are both choosing the same IP Address, which is causing problems.

    How can I change them?

come on mate first you don't want to try different linux firmwares and now you don't want to read up and do research.

we don't mind helping, but I don't spoon feed people either.

have a go mate get stuck into it, if you don't want to then I suggest next time you just buy ready out of the box unit from a reseller.

I can assure you that I have researched this for hours yesterday, all the guides recommend editing the interfaces file, but this just doesn't work. I'm very sorry to be a pain, but I'm not sure where else to look.
