I figured out how to patch the kernel, working on overclock, but can anyone confirm that this ROM is rooted and properly rooted for 4.4.x? I am learnt out and can't take on rooting, too.

Once I can confirm this, I will be uploading the rom package as best as I can. No frills here, just a simple upgrade/fix. Hopefully it is rooted, otherwise it will take a little longer.

I installed it to my stick and it is for the most part free of any useless apps and is rooted and runs well.

I am working on the OC kernels, but I need to test these to be sure they work. The overclockomatic tool shows two gpu or ram tables, I'm not certain which to use, so I may not be doing anything when I run it.

The stick has an RK3188T chip but this firmware runs at 1.6ghz. I think that is a safe place to start. Running the kernel_cpustock_gpu798h_ddr720.img and have no problems so far. I'll upload the kernels when I get a chance.

You cannot downsize the screen resolution, so if you want a 720 rom, you can't get it. I don't really need 1080 but if that's what I have to do, I can live with it.

The stock firmware is the only firmware I know that has working BT. It has 2 limitations - no 1080p and no rotation. Sounds like 1080p is not an issue anymore.

I will test Bluetooth to make sure it works. How can I test screen rotation?
