I installed this in my MXIII 2GB but when I try to switch on the box, it remains stuck on the MBOX animation. I've tried some 80+ times to boot into recovery again, trying all combinations with SD card, with OTG cable, with both and with neither. No matter what I do, I cannot boot into neither normally nor into recovery.

Do I just throw the device in the bin or is there a way of magically reviving it please?

@mutu310 Try to load the Beelink stock firmware that you had back onto your device prior to flashing it.

In order to do this, I need to be in recovery, but I can't seem to enter recovery. I tried for hours (some 80+ times). Posting here is my last desperate effort to save the box.

your sdcard will have to be formatted in FAT32 to enter recovery and FAT if you want to get in OTG

Sounds like your recovery on the box is not good. I had the same issue. Something's to take into consideration is that you should use a non conductive object when using the pinhole method. If you are using a stock Beelink rom and trying to burn via the AML USB Burning tool check that you don't have a driver issue ... I have seen it many times that drivers are the reason also check with another power supply, sometimes these go bad and can cause the box not to flash. You need a healthy 5V3A Power supply. Remember that the OTG port also supplies power to the box, so get the sequence right ... It's essential.

Keep trying and don't give up. Give it a rest and continue this the next day as well ... Electronics are strange animals ... Good luck 😄

I do have a driver issue. The laptop I had used to flash once using AML has died and now MoboRobo can't install any drivers for me anymore. Could the fact that I don't have the correct drivers be the reason why I cannot enter recovery? If so, is there some place where I can download and install the drivers manually?

Also not sure what you mean by the OTG port and sequence. I'm leaving the USB cable connected throughout. I'll try some tests connecting everything at the same time.

The drivers should be present and attributes to a lot of the frustration when using the AML burning tool. Some people reckon you need the drivers with Moborobo others work fine without them. Reasoning for this is no 2 computers are alike.

I use the following method but can't always get it right

                      Open AML burning tool
Plug in OTG port on box
                      Plugin USB port in PC
Use tooth pick to hold recovery button in AV port
                      Plugin power on box
Hold power button and don't let go of recovery.
                      Box should hopefully pick up.

                      If it doesn't, try again.

I tried this method several, several, several times. Each time my PC says it is installing drivers for 'MTP USB Device' and it fails after a while. In the meantime, the box does not boot into recovery but tries to boot the normal way and gets stuck in the booting animation (which is still animating, by the way). Maybe if someone sends me the drivers I could install them manually?

Did you manage to sort your box out?

Yes, I tried so much, I made many trials, many attempts to short circuits, the box does not care anymore.
