As i was reading through the forum, i noticed that quite some people have the low wifi bandwidth problem on these devices, especially on AP6210 chip. It is connected but nothing goes through, or hardily goes.

Anyway, the chips on motherboard are generating a lot of background noise, and since the internal antenna is almost sitting on it, the signal gets damped.

Just open your device and move the antenna away from the motherboard. Get it out from the housing and let it hang there.

Also if you are using a wireless mouse dongle directly connected to your android stick the 2.4GHz wifi signal will most likely be negatively affected by the wireless transmitter in the wireless mouse dongle.

Using a USB extension cable to increase the distance between the wifi antenna and the wireless mouse dongle POSITIVELY makes a big difference!

If you don´t want to open up the stick you can for example run a nondestructive test by running a wifi speedtest with wired mouse vs. wirelss mouse dongle in different configurations ...
