S82 - NBA GameTime streaming issue

    Hello,

I recently acquired a MBox S82 with 8GB ROM mostly for movies and online streaming. The movies run perfectly on this box, nevertheless I encountered a problem when trying to stream from the Android app from the NBA, NBA Game Time.

At first, the app required to update the google play services, I did that - it said sth like To use the Chrome Cast service you need to update the Google Play Services. So far so good but when I try to watch a game or watch NBA TV, it shows a black screen. The audio is there and so are the functions of a normal media player - forward, stop, rewind, etc. but the image is not. I updated the soft to 103k4 I thought maybe it has sth to do with the firmware version but nothing has changed.

Is there a solution for this? I also tried to videos section and after a nagging 3-minute ad it did more of the same - black screen, audio works perfectly.

And another thing: it seems that every time I try to stream and then roll back or try another tab of the menu or another video, the app keeps crushing...every time.

Any kind of help is much appreciated. Thank you.

P.S. I will also send an e-mail support to the NBA to see what they have to say.

I found a solution using XBMC works perfectly - even better than my pc to tv using HDMI cable. All you have to do is install this add-on for XBMC

Configure the add-on, enter the user, pass and stream quality - 720P beautiful and there you have it.

Of course, the NBA support team responded fairly quick saying that the Android TV Box is not supported and they cant do anything about it. Oh well thank God for the good all community and the Internet.
