Hi everybody
I got an "used" ug802 from a friend... When he tried to unplug it the microusb socket broke and as he didn't want to mess with it, he sold I to me...
I am on Finless 1.4 but I realized flash does not work. Specifically I wanted to put my kids on www.disneyjunior.ca to play some flash games and it wouldn't let us...
Could anyone give me some pointers? I tried installing an app from the XDA forum, but it complained about not being able to remove a system app...
Any ideas?

Flash web browser does work you just have to set it up to work properly.
First make sure adobe flash player plug-in is installed.

Second open the stock web browser and look for the setting menu.
It is located in the upper right hand top corner as 3 little grey dots.

Clicking on the grey dots brings up the menu bar list.
At the very bottom of the menu list click on Setting.


Now you will see the full Setting Menu for the browser.
Click on Advanced. In Advanced menu...
Enable JavaScript... check the box. Should be blue check mark.
Enable plug-ins... Select this option... Always ON... THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
This turns on flash plug-in.

Now go to the Flash Player app.
It's located in the app drawer if not their then it is hidden in the system.
If so you will have to do a work around to get to the flash setting.
If it is a system app then type in this... https://settings.adobe.com/flashplayer/mobile/

If it's in the app drawer, it looks like this

Click on it. It will open a web browser.
This will give you access to the Adobe Flash Player Settings Manger for this specific device.

The address is...https://settings.adobe.com/flashplayer/mobile/
It will look like this...


Click on the box... Local storage.
It will bring up a sub menu with three choices.
Click... Allow local storage... click Always
You will also see a blue box... Clear local storage.
Click on Clear local storage box... click Confirm.

Now Flash Player should work on stock web browser.
I tested the web site you mentioned for your kids and it does work
with the UG802 with flash player working.

If this does not fix the player app you might have to flash a new Rom
or go back to stock Rom and try another Rom. Their are a few at this site...

Their is another way to fix that Flash Player as a system app.
You would need to remove it with Root Explorer or ES File Explorer.

Both of these apps Root Explorer or ES File Explorer can remove it.

In either program you need to go into the root file system.
For example..

Root Explorer... open it.
The first page that opens is the root.

At the top of the menu bar is Mount r/w.
That stands for Mount read and write. Enable this option.

Now scroll down and go into folder... system

In the directory is a folder... app
Open app folder. You will see all the system apps.

Scroll down to find flashplayer.apk
or it might be called adobe.flashplayer.apk

Click an hold on it. It will bring up options.
Option... Delete. Select delete.

That should remove it so you can install another flash player.apk

Wow,
Thanks for the replies... I will try as soon as I get home.
one thing though, I have it installed but when I click on it it pops a browser windows with nothing on it...
I will try all the config that you mentioned and if it doesn't work I'll remove it and reinstall it... Can you point me to a known working apk?

Ok, I got home and checked my settings and everything was as it is supposed to be. The settings brought me to an empty page. I used ex explorer and removed the apk I tried to install the one from Bob's link and it wouldn't let me. I rebooted and it worked afterwards...
I accessed the website but I wasn't impressed. It moved kinda slow. Is it normal? I thought the hardware should be able to handle it. My Galaxy S2 can...
