Draco tells dead.

Well I flashed my micro SD card with Phoenix put the card in, no light on waited for about 8 to 10 main restarted my box & light come back on. But to be honest I'm still having a few niggles with this box. I keep losing my WiFi when I turn on my box some times. & some times the box just freezes on me when browsing the web. I can't understand it. Its doing my head in. I have to unplug the thing to get it back on, & even then the blue light dose not come on, so I have to mess about unplugging & plunging it back in. ????

This may be utterly obvious to you... but when you say you "put the card in" I am hoping you
1. unplugged the device
2 inserted the sd card
3 pressed the reset button at the bottom of the device and WHILE that is STILL being pressed you
4 plug in the power supply

If you did that, then i would guess it is something like the power supply or a damaged box...

I don't have to use the FN at the bottom of the device, I only insert the SD and plug the power and it starts directly to flash the rom...

But I also had situations, which I can't reproduce, where my box freezes (also no longer adb via wifi so I can't get logs)...

Ah, OK, I have never tried without pressing that button at the bottom. It may still be worth his while to try that though.

Yeah. I may try to flash stock ROM on Tuesday after work. It froze twice on me tonight. I don't no were to get another power adaptor for this box. I may just have to send it back to geekbuying after the holls. No_spam_for_me. How did you sort your freezing problem, because I don't wont to send it back if I can sort it here. Thanks.

Do you mean the re flashing froze on you? Not sure this will help. I found that I couldn't flash the box , using the memory card method, if I was trying to flash the same rom that was already on the device. So if I had the beta rom on the device and wanted to re flash the beta rom I had to flash stock first and then the beta rom. I haven't really tested this but it always seemed to work when I had troubles with the re flash would freeze.

I think you mean freezing at normal operating?
As I wrote, I can't reproduced it but I don't wrote that I fixed it (we will see what happen)....

Mr dasher. No I did not mean that my box froze wile flashing. I mean my box freeze on me wile on the internet or playing a game or watching a movie. That's what I ment.

Hi all,

I have not flashed all did any mods on my device and it has just died.... one day to another it just does not switch on. I have tried another power adapter with 12 V but no luck.
@bigall123 did you do anything special to bring it back to life?

any help appreciated! Yes I have packed everything for exchange but if I could try something else?

mine seems also dead, recieved it yesterday, tried a little with stock rom, but did not like the stutters in video so flashed it. Had set it up today and was outside some hours, when i came back it did not turn on again. But there is some signal on HDMI because my switch recognize it when i switch power on. But even with FN switch it will not boot or show the red/blue light. I will wait some hours without power, maybe it will recover. Unfotunately i throw away the packaging, i hope i can return it anyways.

I've got the same problem as the above:

Unfortunately this morning whilst watching Netflix, the box froze a number of times. I felt the top and it felt a bit warmer than usual so I turned it off and left it for a few hours.

Tried to switch the box on again with the remote but no response.
Unplugged from the back and plugged back in again, nothing.

No burning smell, no lights no ethernet light. Nothing. Plugging in the power adaptor sometimes shows a brief blink of light in the spdif port but thats it.

UPDATE: There is definitely power going into the box as if you plug in the power the HDMI input on my tv shows a HDMI cable attached. But if you unplug the power it disappears.

I have a Symlink system on my LG TV which automatically switches channels when you turn on any attached devices. The channel switches to the Tronsmart's HDMI input when power is plugged in.

Tried the reflash from SD Card suggestion from above, didnt expect it to work and sadly did not.

Can ANYONE help please?
