Can any of the current crop of devices could do component video output? Or any of the older devices?
Not composite video, but actual component video. My old HTPC that is becoming unmaintainable had a NVidia chipset that off the same connector do either composite video or with a different cable do component video. The TV that I have that hooked to had a HDMI port but that port stopped working long ago. So, all I have is component video for the 720i that the TV can handle. I've attempted in the past to use a HDMI - Component Video converter, but haven't had any luck. Would prefer that the device do it directly.
I see that a lot of the RK3288 devices have an A/V out port, but the only breakout cables I've seen for that are composite video, audio R, and audio L.
Thank you
