    Hey Dude!

I decided to try the Android-x86 version as you had suggested earlier. After trying Blue Stacks last year and finding it mainly useless I guess I didn't believe they had a version of Android that worked correctly. I was wrong! The _x86 ISO started and ran great on the five year old machine and ran video from Youtube with minor stuttering on the older Pentium 4 rig. I was able to download, install and run the Nova Launcher from the Google Play Store. Although configuration was somewhat different I was able to get wired and wireless networking running. Sound worked. What can I say? Go re-figure

I am impressed. Thanks again Dude!

        Hi again, RISKy Dude.

Great! Thanks again for the follow up posting here. I appreciate it. I just looked at the release notes and I am glad to see active developement of this software.

I just ordered a new microATX motherboard, processor, ram and ssd to replace my five year old Windoze 7 rig. And in the meantime I have been running Linux Mint 17.1 from an old usb 2.0 flash drive on the old rig. It is actually more responsive than the HDD Win7 system!

It has been five years since I built the last machine and success here should give me the confidence to replicate the project in a microITX form factor to use as an HTPC. THAT will be the target of Android X86. I am having fun

Thanks for the new years wishes! Happy new year to you and yours.
