I think ive got an M8 and need pointing in right direction before i cock it up !!!!

Right chaps i need a little help . I have bought a m8n or at least that what it says on the box . its quad core and says m8 on case . when i switch on it it boots up with mali 450.

I bought it to use xbmc but am having real problems with audio synch issues and have tried everything in xbmc to resolve it but no joy!!!

So found my way to this site and have read lots of posts which lead me to think that firmware might need changing. My problem comes when i click into relevant forum and i am getting confused with what im looking for .

i understand how to download and install firmware but am unsure because not sure if it is for the box i have. it gets confusing as there is lots of boxes with similar names

im pretty sure mine is m8 amlogic i went to stanes site and it says enym8 ??????? all very confusing for beginner

can someone point me in the right direction please i dont mind researching my question but need to know im downloading the right things.

this audio outta sync is driving me nuts !!!!

Could you post a photo of your box please then we can help
Also you do no you can speed up & slow down the sound with the audio offset settings

this is what i bought . I tried the audio offset but it did not do anything.

netflix works fine .

Am i headin in the right direction with changing firmware ?

The photos links are not working, & yes the stock firmware on any box is pretty naff so to put any custom rom on is a step in the right direction,, basically if your box is square look hear http://www.freaktab.com/forumdisplay...6Q-etc-Devices

Try code snakes open elec I use it with no issue. Boots straight to xbmc so no android . Great just for xbmc
