New device. New troubles. Searches reveal... nothing?

Gentlemen.
I'm back!

Bossman slapped a new device on my desk, based on the Tronsmart MK908II with a 3188T stuck inside.
I can edit/maim the android firmware all I want, but that is boring.

Unfortunately it seems none of the kernels I have tried will produce ANY signs of life on the screen.

Does anyone have a source for the 3188T that at least boots?

Well I was able to flash the complete OS here:

And it boots! Better than staring at a black screen.

However, wifi does not work, and the little tutorial here:

Does not produce a working kernel either.

Also, the /proc/config.gz option is not turned on (oh boy!) I have no idea what config made the kernel work.

Now I got that and the ASIX eth0 driver compiled, I'd like to take a full snapshot of my progress from the device.

Anyone know how to backup an image from a device?

Last peice of my puzzle is the wifi.
This board is equipped with an AP6210, which from what I gather using the rkwifi.ko module will create the device.
However, it seems the device is unable to locate the chip on the board... unable to power up the wifi.

wifi_power is the one already set in the board.c file, and when I change it to the GPIO pins for the AP6210... I get nothing different.

And it seems when I compile my modules I am not compiling rkwifi.ko?? wtf?
