    CS-Q8 A80 question

I am looking to buy CS-Q8 A80 Octa-Core player. I'm quite used to flash android phones, mostly Sony, media players are new to me. My question is about cross flashing. Tronsmart octa core player and CS-Q8 seems to have exactly the same hardware specifications, would it be possible to flash Finless rom for Tronsmart on CS-Q8 without bricking the device?
Why I want buy CS-Q8 instead of Tronsmart? The only reason is the remote

Are you sure you want to THE cs-q8 instead of the tronsmart just because of the remote??

I can tell you, the remote on cs-q8 is worse than the one on tronsmart, trust me, i have tried so many remote in my office, but that one give me the worst plastic feeling.

when I look at tronsmart remote and cs-q8 remote it seems to me that cs remote control many more features, no I will not use original remote but my harmony. But Tronsmart remote seems very poor like Minix, I would like to use remote only without need for a keyboard every time I want to look at a movie.
There is difference between wif modules, Tronsmart has 6330 and cs 6335, but I have no idean if that mean anything substantial.

The experience for the ir remote is no good, better to use air mouse.

and for the wifi module, where did you see the tronsmart use the ap6330? it is also use the ap6335.

and yes, it means the 802.11AC wifi.

                  hehehe, yes, you are right:
                  "2.4G/5.8G, IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wifi AP6330 module"
                  ac and AP6330 doesn't match...
Also the "5.8G", I think minix is the first who correct it at there x8-PLUS to the right "5G", but the wrong 5.8 seems to be persistent at the most Chinese sides (I have no idea who and why starts with the 5.8)...

You will not have problems with CS-Q8 (I bought one and I'm so happy). CS-Q8 accepts all firmware made for Tronsmart AW80.

                    Cheers!

I'm about flashing my CS-Q8 with the latest Tronsmart AW80 firmware "stock firmware for Draco AW80 04 Feb 2015". Just want to check it again if there is any problem?
Actually I'm not sure how much benefit it can give by using the AW80 firmware but I cannot fix the audio output is hijacked by my Minix A2 airmouse with the rom from CS-Q8. Nor soundabout can fix it...sad ;-(
