UG008 upgraded with official firmware, no WiFi (turning WiFi on...)

    Hi all,
I've been using my UG008 with Android 4.1.1.
On the official Ugoos page I found out they have Android 4.2.2 FW, so i downloaded it:

After flashing the system boots up, but the Wi-Fi doesn't start up, it continiously stays in "Turning Wi-Fi on...". Restart doesn't help, factory reset no effect.
The bad luck is that I was thinking that it's from official vendor firmware so everything would be OK, so I didn't backup mu original ROM.
    Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks
    Dejan

    Strange that it doesn't work.
I know some of the ug008(b) boxes use different wifi chips, mine has a MediaTak MT5931SA while others have the ap6210.

You could always try finless 1.7a imito mx 1 which works with the ug008 or try this stock rom

      strange but true
thanks a lot nipper for your advice on the chipsets (the unit is so compact and well assembled I was sceptic on opening it myself to be honest
i actually found that fw yesterday (at another forum though and I'm happy to report that the box is now OK (tested wifi/BT/HDMI).
